Product Manager, Implementations

Location: Nashville, TN or Remote in the United States

Provider and payer organizations across the healthcare industry face an uphill climb.

As payment reforms reshape healthcare, care teams are tasked with new challenges: engaging patients from a distance, working across disciplines, sharing information, making handoffs, tracking the impact of care management on costs and outcomes. The list goes on and on.

As more is demanded of care teams, the software they've relied upon frequently comes up short and/or fails. (Increasingly both.) Inflexible software leads to frustrated teams. Frustration affects performance, which increases costs and threatens organizational objectives.

RoundingWell believes there’s a better way.

Each organization has unique needs. Each team has unique needs. We’re on a mission to engineer a modern platform of flexible building blocks that supports care management teams and their workflows. The RoundingWell platform is highly configurable, which allows us to be extremely responsive to our customers’ needs. We have also placed a premium on the end-user experience.

Because of our extreme focus on customer satisfaction, RoundingWell is going up against some of the largest health IT vendors and winning. Now we’re on the hunt to add amazing, talented people to our team.

This is where you come in...

As Product Manager of Implementations, your primary responsibility is to ensure our customers get the most value out of RoundingWell.

We are looking for an individual with product management experience to play the lead role during customer implementations. It starts with your ability to understand our customers’ pain points, priorities, user personas, and key use cases. You’ll leverage the capabilities of the RoundingWell platform to shape how each workflow use case is brought to life. Success in this role is achieving strong product-customer fit through each implementation. Above and beyond success in this role is helping grow our footprint within each customer organization as a byproduct of successful implementations.

What you will do:

  • Empathize with customers, end users and their day-to-day processes to understand their business’s articulated (and unarticulated) needs.

  • Lead multiple implementations of varying sizes simultaneously.

  • Document the clinical, operational, and financial requirements for each implementation, including the scope of work the RW team uses to configure the platform.

  • Produce process maps, patient journey maps, or other documentation as needed to aid in requirements gathering and communicating scope both internally and externally.

  • Post-implementation you’ll be the subject matter expert for our customers’ workflows, and you’ll help shape future enhancements and new workflows over time.

  • Work closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to iterate and deliver flawlessly.

  • Capture and communicate product insights based on customer needs. You’ll work closely with the product and engineering teams to identify opportunities to iterate and enhance platform capabilities.

  • Influence the long-term vision and strategy for future areas of growth based on a deep understanding of customer needs, market knowledge, user feedback, the competitive landscape, and RoundingWell’s business goals and strategy.

More about you:

  • You have 4+ years of software product management experience across the complete product cycle, from market/user research, to scoping, design, and technical execution through post-release support and future iterations.

  • You have experience engaging with customers to determine requirements and iterate on solutions that exceed customer expectations.

  • Experience in health tech is nice to have, but not required.

  • Your ability to produce visual artifacts to communicate solutions is nice to have but not required. These could be low fidelity sketches, medium fidelity wireframes, or high fidelity UI designs.

  • You have experience with and thrive in remote work environments.

  • You have excellent written communication skills and are able to articulate complex issues and solutions clearly, especially through asynchronous channels (e.g. Slack, project management tools.)
